Featured is a beautiful, prone, 3D Devonian trilobite, Huntonia
oklahomae, collected from the famous Bois d’Arc Limestone in Clarita,
Oklahoma. This dalmanitid trilobite’s faceted eyes are nicely
preserved.
The specimen is complete. The genal spines, the pygidial spine, and the
cephalic processes are present. This specimen was obtained
from an old collection. I reprepped the specimen to clean out the
grooves and smooth out the matrix. This is a very fine piece!
The pictures illustrate the quality of this piece. It
is in an odd "S" shape that makes photography difficult - this specimen
appears much nicer than the images suggest.
